Dear Classical Guitarist:

Thank you for your interest in my instruments.

My wait list is now closed. After many decades with a long list of waiting clients, I completed the last instrument in January. I will continue to make guitars, of course - it's impossible to imagine stopping - but I will do only a few each year, and they'll be done to my design and on a possibly unpredictable schedule.

The first of these "retirement" instruments will be completed in the next few weeks. It features an exquisite alpine spruce doubletop and beautiful ziricote back and sides. It and all my future instruments will be available only through this website.

I have been making guitars for nearly fifty years and exclusively doubletops for the last twenty. I'm fortunate to have discovered doubletop technology while it was still fairly novel and to have had a clientele that encouraged my exploration of this most intriguing and versatile approach to classical guitar construction. There seems to be no end to the possibilities it offers.

Current instruments are the best I've ever done. Clarity, colour, fullness, balance, sustain. Power, volume, responsiveness, dynamic range. Playability, beauty of sound. If you are interested in purchasing, or would simply like to learn more, please contact me.
